Why STREAMin3 is different
At STREAMin3, we’ve designed a curriculum that helps teachers foster multiple skills with a wide variety of engaging learning experiences.
We are also committed to fostering an inclusive community, where each child receives equitable opportunities and support that is responsive to their unique learning needs, culture, and background. The STREAMin3 curriculum strives to make each and every child feel welcomed, embraced, and valued for who they are, including their race, culture, gender, religion, or ability.
Today we were artists and scientists as we creatively explored and experimented with painting with fallen leaves to compare how they are the same or different from other tools.
Today, we were artists and scientists as we experimented with sounds on the playground.
Today, we were scientists as we used our senses to pick out the mystery object.
Today, we were scientists as we collaborated to tend to our community gardens full of healthy food!
Today, we were artists as we freely created outside and we used our "relate" skills to collaborate and share with our friends!
Today, we used technology as we tested the best tools for the job.
Today, we built our "relate" skills by pretending to take care of others and our "regulate" skills by following the washing steps.
Today, we built our "think" skills by actively exploring mud and our "relate" skills by sharing with our friends!
Today, we practiced our "move" skills by jumping, hopping, and stepping through a course!
Today, we used our "communicate" skills and practiced early writing by signing in and starting our day.
Today, we built our "regulate" skills by practicing with a loved puppet that helps us calm down.
Today, we were engineers as we designed and built our tower using different shapes.
